PRODUCTION PROCESS
OF A HAND-SMOCKED PRODUCT

CUSTOM-MADE

Customer sends ideas/requests to
Sales supporter -> Designer illustrates
a sketch accordingly

READY-TO-SHIP (OVERSTOCK)

The products are designed by
Babeeni’s designers and
with Babeeni’s exclusive label.

CUSTOM-MADE

* Supporter reverts the sketch to
customer for approval and then make production notice

READY-TO-SHIP (OVERSTOCK)
* New designs are selected &
proceeded for production.

* Design Team at Factory make specifications of products.
Materials Department seek to buy materials -> Fabric and materials are sent to warehouse and then provided to sewing & embroidery factories.
* Patterns of products are smocked/embroidered
by hands or machines
as customized

* The finished products are sent to Head Office for checking specifications, then taken photos to inform customer for approval.
* The approved one will be applied to mass production as customized quantities.

* After 8 steps of checking and quality control (QC), products are packed carefully and shipped to customer via airline.
* It takes 5-7 days for the products to reach customer.

STEPS OF QUALITY CONTROL (QC)

Check and review design sketch of products and patterns before proceeding production.

Check fabric’s quality at fabric warehouse

Check quality of raw materials & accessories samples at purchasing department

After hand-embroidery or machine-embroidery, QC check quality of embroidered patterns before sending them to sewing factory.

At each sewing line, a QC staff take charge of product inspection Then, general QC team continue to check product quality in details (materials, embroidered pattern, stitching, excess thread..) before packing

Sample products are sent to the Design Department to re-measure specs (length, width…) to check if the sample is designed well or not.

Products are sent to the Sales Department so sales supporters check if they meet the customer's requirement, check hundreds of monogram samples as per customization; and take photos of the sample products to update customers.

Only when customer approve with the new product, sale staff will send them to customers
